Ran this through 3 media players including VLC and it didn't work. And don't tell me to download the right codec packs, mine are all up to date.

I downloaded it and it played just fine... of course I have the correct codecs installed! =p
I would suggest which codec pack to install, however you mentioned your opposition to anyone willing to help you. Good luck finding it on your own.
